How personalizing works
Pick a design, type the name, number or town you want, and the preview updates as you type, so what you see on screen is what gets printed. There is no proof to wait for and no back and forth by email. Once you order, the artwork renders at full print resolution and goes straight to our Canadian fulfilment partner.
The one exception is the custom pet portrait. That one is drawn by hand from the photo you upload, so it works differently: you send the picture, we illustrate your dog or cat, and you approve a proof before anything prints.
What you can put on a shirt
Names are the most popular by a wide margin: a dog’s name under a sketch, a wife’s name in script, a set of kids’ names under a mama bear. After that it is hockey names and numbers for beer leagues and minor hockey, and home towns on the vintage collegiate crest. Keep it short for the best result, since a single word sits better in most of these layouts than a full sentence, and check the spelling before you order because every piece is made to order and cannot be reprinted for free after a typo.

Personalized pieces cost the same as the equivalent non-custom item in the catalogue, with no personalization surcharge. They print in Canada and ship domestically on the same 3 to 8 business day timeline, at a flat $9.99 and free over $120 CAD, with no customs at the border. Because each one is made for a single person, give a gift a little more runway than usual and order the week before rather than the night before.
